The campsite is open for Tents, Trailer Tents and Campervans; and the Shower Block is open. Whitesands Camping® is the only campsite next to Whitesands beach. It forms part of an historic farm holding. Campers have stayed here since the 1930s. No need to book in advance (we don’t make bookings) just turn up, choose your pitch on the day and check in with Mark at the site office. Main Site 30 pitches: tents, trailer tents, campervans and ‘light’ motorhomes (below 7.5m). Usually open from Easter school holidays through to the end of October. Farm Fields Tents plus accompanying vehicles, and trailer tents only; 2021 open: July and August; 13 acres of farm fields, or 10 football pitches; plenty of room. We do not formally take bookings at any time of year and cannot allocate pitches in advance: “first-come-first-served policy”.
